Image Color
How do I convert an image to RGB Color Mode in Adobe Photoshop?
I wish to sharpen and soften an images edges in Adobe Photoshop, but when I try to do this, an error message comes up saying:
“Could not use sharpen tool because it doesnt work with indexed Color images (convert to RGB color mode)”
Can anyone please help me?

Go to Image— then To Mode.. there is RGB option.. choose it
simple as that..
in Photoshop 6.0 its like that… in newer version might be at different place… but the option should be available in Image section. There are CMYK, RGB, 16-bit, 32-bit.. and other options you can choose from
